Save the Date! Coaching Clinic at Driveline Baseball

Saturday, March 7, 3:30-5pm: VYBS is partnering with Driveline Baseball in Kent to offer a Coaching Clinic. We welcome new coaches, experienced coaches who have been around the diamond before, and those who may be curious about volunteering on the field. This clinic will cover every division of VYBS, from 6U Shetland tee-ball through 14U Pony baseball and softball. Deven Morgan, head of youth programs at Driveline, will break down baseball and softball’s fundamental skills and discuss how to scale those skills upward as players age. Coaches will also share strategies for dynamic and engaging practices, organized games, and general team management that keeps the emphasis on recreational fun. Coaching youth baseball or softball may seem intimidating, but you don't need to be a baseball expert. All that's really required is familiarity with the game, patience, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
