We are excited to announce that VYBS is partnering with Driveline Baseball in Kent to offer an all-new Coaching Clinic. We welcome new coaches, experienced coaches who have been around the diamond before, and those who may be curious about volunteering on the field.

Coaching youth baseball or softball may seem intimidating at first, but you don't need to be an expert. All that's really required is some familiarity with the game and a willingness to learn.

This clinic will cover every division of VYBS, from 6U Shetland tee-ball through 14U Pony baseball and softball. Deven Morgan, head of youth programs at Driveline, will break down baseball and softball’s fundamental skills and discuss how to scale those skills upward as players age. Coaches will also share strategies for dynamic and engaging practices, organized games, and general team management that keeps the emphasis on recreational fun.

The clinic will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 3:30-5pm, at Driveline's training facility at 23211 66th Ave S., Kent, WA 98032.
